Lube ‘n Go has been El Paso owned and El Paso proud since 1976. Being owned and operated by 3 generations of family has afforded Lube ‘n Go the opportunity to be rooted in the community we service.
The majority of our employees are born and raised El Pasoans. Our customers are friends, colleagues, neighbors and members of the city we love.
We are a country dominated by small and family owned businesses. According to a recent study by Bloomberg, family owned companies account for just over half of the country’s total economic output, 60% of the total employment and 78% of new job creation. Lube ‘n Go is proud to be part of that statistic.
Lube ‘n Go was founded by Larry Bartlett, Jr., a former member of our military who is also a private pilot. During one of his flights to California, he observed a man changing other people’s oil in his driveway. It was then that the idea for Lube ‘n Go was born. He flew back to El Paso and began construction on our Montana store immediately. The opening of that location would make us the first quick lube oil change center. Ever.
Back in 1976, our Montana location was a single bay store. We changed oil on a creeper under the car and we promised to finish within 10 minutes or it was free because the concept of a quick oil change was unheard of.
Since then, 2 more generations of family have entered the ownership and we serve the El Paso community with 10 locations. We’re excited to be bringing you our 11th location at I-10 and Artcraft in early 2015.
We are thankful for the support of our loyal community, as we have grown to be the largest independently owned quick lube in the southwest. We know you have many choices when it comes to deciding where to service your vehicle and we thank you for choosing Lube ‘n Go. We strive to support you and service your vehicles for years to come. And, if you’re looking for a new home for your vehicle maintenance needs, we invite you to visit us and see what sets us apart.
We are El Paso owned and El Paso proud.
